As I prepare for my upcoming race, strength training seems very important because of
the distance and time I will be out on the course. I feel like increasing my muscle mass

It has been awhile since I have written anything about my training for my 100 mile race. I have been so busy with the other things in my life. I had a great week of training. I ranthe first 16 miles of the Wasatch 100 on Saturday. It starts in Layton and goes north on the Bonneville Shoreline trail and connects into the Great Western trail. It is a great trail with some good climbs. I'm feeling so much stronger. I lifted hard on Monday and ran 8 miles today and feel great. I’m a little late on my blog for the run on Friday. I did the 10 mile loop up dry canyon and felt really good going up. It was hotter then I expected and I ran out of water about 7 miles into it.
